NIMHANS Digital Academy || Translating "Best Practice Care"

NIMHANS Digital Academy is a part of Mental Health Informatics (mHI), Department of Psychiatry with the aim to exponentially increase the skilled manpower to provide quality mental health and substance use care in the remote and underserved community by leveraging technology. Since 2014, NIMHANS with Collaboration of Project ECHO, UNM has been involved in training, tele-mentoring and handholding by using HUB and Spokes model i.e. Virtual Knowledge Network NIMHANS ECHO. Following the success of this model, the NIMHANS Digital Academy, a part of larger Mental Health Informatics has been approved by 3rd GB of NIMHANS on 30th April 2016 and supported by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
